1. Choose the action you need
Disconnect an Instagram connection to remove the credentials Omqelo stores for that connection. Request data deletion when you want information reviewed for erasure. A full Omqelo account or workspace deletion is a different request from disconnecting one Instagram account.
Privacy and deletion requests are handled through the monitored inbox below by Kerem Mıhçı, a sole proprietor operating Omqelo. Request handling by the operator is separate from automated provider callbacks.
2. Disconnect an Instagram account
Sign in to Omqelo, open the relevant workspace’s Integrations screen, and locate the Instagram account. An authorized member can choose the disconnect action, currently labelled “Bağlantıyı kes” in the application, and confirm it.
Disconnecting deletes stored provider credentials and prevents continued use of that stored authorization. It does not automatically release canonical account ownership, erase authorization history or delete every related record. Removing access in Instagram is governed separately by Instagram’s controls.
3. Requests initiated through Meta or Instagram
Where Meta or Instagram offers an app data-deletion request, use the provider’s own account or connected-app controls. The provider sends a signed request to Omqelo’s separate machine-facing callback.
For a valid request, the implemented callback records a deletion request, revokes applicable credentials and returns a confirmation code with a status link through the provider flow. A previously superseded authorization is treated according to the authorization-history safeguards.
The status link reports the request’s recorded state. A pending state means the request is recorded, not that all data has been erased. Keep the confirmation link private; do not post it publicly.
4. Full account, workspace or data deletion
There is not currently a public self-service workflow that completes all account, workspace and historical data erasure. You can request review and deletion of personal information, account or workspace information, and connected-platform data through the monitored privacy inbox. The operator handles these requests according to their scope, your authority and applicable law.
Email the contact below, identify the type of request and the account email you use with Omqelo, and describe the relevant account or workspace without including private identifiers unnecessarily. Where possible, send the request from the email associated with your account. Do not send access tokens, passwords, provider credentials, message contents or unnecessary third-party information.

5. Verification and processing
Omqelo may request information reasonably necessary to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request before processing it. Verification should protect the relevant account or workspace without exposing another person’s data. Additional formal requirements may apply to statutory requests.
Automated receipt of a provider request is implemented. Complete downstream erasure of all retained data is not yet an implemented end-to-end public workflow. Requests must not be described as completed solely because a callback returned successfully.
6. Retained records and status
Ownership, authorization history, request records, security records and backups can require separate handling. Data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy or applicable legal obligations. Operational and recovery backups may temporarily retain data through normal recovery processes. No fixed public deletion SLA or backup-expiration timeline has been adopted; applicable statutory response and deletion requirements still apply.
The Privacy Policy describes data categories and retention principles. The operator will respond to a valid request and explain its handling, including any applicable retention restrictions. A recorded or pending request must not be presented as completed erasure. For questions or requests outside provider controls, use the monitored privacy inbox below.
